The seed of an idea: from lab to farm
Moonlight Laboratories began in November 2020, born from a deep-rooted passion for scientific discovery and the powerful potential of fungi. Our founders, scientists united by their curiosity, met at North Carolina A&T State University. What started as mentorship quickly grew into a partnership rooted in research, discovery, and respect for the natural world. With over ten years of combined experience in bioremediation, fungal growth studies, long-term storage of fungi, mushroom domestication, and breeding, our academic backgrounds in Applied Science, Biotechnology, and Natural Resources underscore our hands-on, evidence-based approach. At Moonlight Labs, science isn’t just something we study, it’s something we live, grow, and share.
